Biography
JoAnn P. Harri was born on January 1, 1959 in New York, New York and graduated magna cum laude from Long Island University, CW Post College, in 1981, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. There, she was a member of the Phi Eta Honor Society and was on the Dean's List continuously during her undergraduate career. She received her Juris Doctor from the School of Law at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1986. She was associated with the firm of Sullivan and Cromwell and the law office of Micheal J. Siris in New York, New York and Peirez, Ackerman, and Levine, in Great Neck, New York, where she received extensive experience as a commerical litigator. She has been a partner at the firm of Smalline and Harri since its inception in 1994, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of civil litigation and sexual abuse.
